A question on the dad:
Is he really just as obtuse as he seems or is there something else going on? I mean, he sends them money that wouldn’t even cover basic expenses, doesn’t give them his bank account info, or a return address to contact him.
If Charlie ever told anyone about her dad, he would be in court tbh

I can’t give too much details or I’ll spoil the story but Charlie doesn’t want her dad in court especially since it means she and Lucian would end up in foster care and probably separated…
