I wonder if maybe Lucien’s questions had anything to do with whether all famous people know each other, whether he had ever been to New York, etc. … Assuming he knows James is somewhat famous, rich, etc. And if perhaps he was questioning James on how he could also get famous, thinking that he would get to travel and see his dad. … Just a thought.
