I have to admit it took me a while to recognice James in this chapter (in natural scenerio he resembles much more a duck of some sorts but in this chapter for the first time I thought of him “damn thats a reeaaallyyyyy nice face”).
I went back to first chapters and to be honest I was just amazed by the comparison. Marvin, you and the comic itself came a long way, the backgrounds, hair, faces, change in ficknes of brush, amount of detail it gained in all those years -is really worth praise. And its realy cool that as story develops and gets more depth the same aplays to visual part. I mean the conection between the two. Yea, I didnt write this with intention to be posted, I just wanted to let you knew how much I apriciate the work youre doing.
Ahah yes, I’ve been at it for almost 10 years now so I’m glad I progressed a bit :p I also like experimenting so I’m happy it’s not every chapter that people have trouble recognizing the characters but I’ll admit I saw it coming for this one, being in a new setting with a new style and James sporting a different haircut… risky :p
I wonder what’s so unprofessional? Your client not showing up or taking pictures of someone at a gravesite without their permission? Who’s the professional guy now? 😂
I wonder if we usually see Charlie from Charlie’s perspective, and this stunning photo is how James sees her! I find the difference in portrayal heartwarming ❤️
